A Terrible Splendour was formed in the oppressive heat of summer in the decaying metropolis. The sound is a darkly luxurious synthesized pop, fractured through the broken lens of a cursed Berlin.
The work of A Terrible Splendour comprises songs written and performed by MM Lyle and Martin Block.
After some flamboyant live performances in London, in 2011 the double A-side single ‘The Russians’/’Slaves to the City’ was released on iTunes. 2012 has already seen an appearance on the electro-pop sampler by Ninth Wave Records and several new songs.
A Terrible Splendour have released debut album, ‘Poseurs‘, for release on desire.
