Phosphor were formed in London in 2011. The young trio is heavily influenced by different artists like Cocteau Twins, Siouxsie And The Banshees, Depeche Mode, Fever Ray, HTRK, Linear Movement and Slowdive. These inspirations were cleverly and most of the time quite subtly digested into the band’s very own dark and hypnotic sound that ranges from Cold Wave to Shoegaze. Since the time of its existence, the band has written, produced and self-released three EPs which all received enthusiastic feedback from several music blogs and DJs all over the world.

Phosphor’s first release for desire was their debut longplayer ‘Youth & Immortality’ with eight haunting, yet powerful songs which all clearly mark the peak of the young band’s career so far. The album was inspired by the confusion and desolation of living in the city, constant battles with the troubled mind and an obsession with beautifully dark sounding music. Listen and understand. As of late 2013 Phosphor have disbanded.
